The other day I shared a vegan red quinoa bread recipe that I stole from Saavy Menke of The Microvore Diet in YouTube. I decided to try it with white quinoa. My wife and I agreed that we like the white quinoa bread better!
The cool thing about this recipe is that it’s so simple to make. You just need quinoa, water, a blender, some spices if you wish, an oven, parchment paper, and a pan.
To make this bread, we use a 1:1 ratio of quinoa and water. Blend these together with any spices you like. (we also add a clove of garlic)
Preheat oven to 400-425, blend quinoa, water and other ingredients together, place parchment paper on pan, pour mixture into paper, thin out to about 1/2 inch using a spoon, put in oven for 15 minutes, take out, flip, and put back in for 10-12 minutes or until your liking.
You’re done! You’ve got yourself a nutritious and great tasting bread you can use for almost any occasion. We ate ours with some vegan oil/butter spread and some salsa. It tasted like cornbread to me with a small notable difference. It was delicious and I highly recommend this extremely easy recipe to anyone trying to eat healthier! You control salt with this (we added a very small amount. Enjoy!
