Mayor logro

Biggest achievement
This is one of my best achievements so far: Running 50Km in a week of regular training. My overall weekly distance record is 53Km, but I did that in a week where I attended a half-marathon check-out, so I like to count it as something special, unlike this week, which was just regular workouts. 🏆
The big difference is that when I attend an event, I have that "responsibility" in my mind to complete the set distance. With regular training it is different because I can always come up with excuses to not workout or to run a shorter distance, so I celebrate the willpower that implies for me to have completed 50Km with regular training. This means that I'm also building a little more mental strength. 🧘
Other achievements
Another factor I celebrate is having normalized two things that were previously unthinkable for me:
- Run twice in a day
- Run 10Km or more at least twice a week
This is precisely due to the frequency I have been training with lately, which is much higher than I had 3 months ago. The route I do most often includes a little more than 250m of positive level and it is definitely another factor that has helped me to improve my conditions. In previous weeks I have done speed series training, which have also helped me a lot, although this week I did not take the time to do it. 🏃
I did double training on Tuesday, May 14th and Thursday, May 16th.
May 14th
May 16th
I also run 10Km on May 18th and 16km on May 19th. In total there were 3 workouts of more than 10Km with approx. 250m of positive level each, which several months ago would have been unthinkable for me. 📊
#RP400M Challenge 🏅
On May 8, we launched the #RP400M challenge, which consisted of making a personal record in the 400m distance, to encourage our colleagues to incorporate speed series in their training. Several runners joined, but only 3 managed to score their new best times for this distance.

I hope they will continue to do speed series of 100m, 200m or 400m, even intermediate distances, the important thing is that they continue to do series at least once a month. That will help them a lot.
