My posts to contribute on Hive Top Chef : coffee. Coffee is a grain with a distinctive aroma and bitter taste, coffee is usually served as a hot drink. But over time, coffee is also used as a food additive for the manufacture of various foods and cold drinks. Today I will process coffee into jelly coffee which can be enjoyed hot or cold. Friends can choose jelly coffee with a cold or hot sensation, according to your taste.

The main ingredients that I use to make coffee jelly are ground coffee and agar agar powder. I also added coconut milk as a gravy with a sweet taste. Jelly coffee is a food as well as a drink with a bitter, savory and sweet taste. The bitter taste of coffee with its distinctive aroma is felt to shake the tongue. chewy jelly coffee with a soft texture so yummy.

For friends who like coffee with a bitter and warm taste sensation, friends can try the jelly coffee menu without the addition of ice.

Meanwhile, friends who like the taste of coffee with a cold sensation can add ice cubes to the coffee jelly.

Ingredients

The main ingredient that I use to make coffee jelly are:
2 tablespoons of coffee grounds
1 Pack of white agar agar
500 mL of water

While the ingredients for making a sweet and savory sauce are :

1 Pack of instant coconut milk
3 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
800 mL of water

And in addition, if you like the taste of cold and fresh coffee, this is ice.

How to make coffee jelly

1.Put the coffee grounds into the pot.

2.Put the agar-agar powder into the pan.

3.Put the water into the pan, then stir until evenly mixed, stir until there is no coffee powder and powder gelatin that clot.

4.Cook until the coffee jelly boils.
Cook over medium heat. When cooking, don't forget to keep stirring, so that the gelatin powder doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.

5.After boiling, turn off the stove, filter the coffee jelly.

6.Leave it for a while until the hot steam disappears, put the coffee jelly into the freezer to help harden.

How to make sauce

1.Put instant coconut milk into the pan.

2.Add sugar and salt.

3.Add water

4.Cook over medium heat, don't forget to keep stirring the coconut milk to keep it fresh.

5.After boiling, turn off the stove.

Serving method

1.Cut the coffee jelly after it has cooled, put in a serving bowl/glass.

2.Pour the coconut milk that is still warm into the coffee jelly.

3.If friends like to add ice cubes.

The result

One bowl of jelly coffee with a hot or cold sensation is ready to be enjoyed. The taste of coffee jelly tastes bitter on the tongue and the taste of the sweet sauce blends with a rich combination of flavors. Coffee lover friends can try to make this recipe.
