A long, long day as I was an overnight volunteer at the Black Hills 100 trail ultramarathon last night - 10 hours tending to the runners while enduring a microburst wind storm, rainy, mud and chilly conditions.
I was able to put in a nice 4 miles on the new bike trails under cloudy skies. My legs are feeling good so now I have to dtop at least 20 pounds.
Even with the horrendous weather at the Silver City aid station (53 mile halfway turn around point). Our station tent was trashed by a sudden wind storm.
Lots of activity so I was moving constantly keeping everyone fed and moving so I'm tired now.
Back to "normal" now.
