Vitosha 100 ultramarathon, Sofia, Bulgaria; This was my 13th participation in what is definitely my favorite ultramarathon in Bulgaria. It’s a 100-kilometer race which goes around the Vitosha mountain (it’s really close to Sofia). It starts at midnignt and the cut-off the Final is 20h. This was my 5th time running it with 0 caloric intake. I’m 100% carnivore and I actually eat only ruminant animals - most beef. So 7 hours before the race I ate 4 black angus beef burger patties and 50 grams of beef tallow. That’s it - during the race I took pure saltcaps for electrolytes - 0 calories, liquid magnesium - 0 calories and water - needless to say 0 calories. I burned over 8000 calories from my “personal reserve” :D
