Bitcoin hits all time high, Ethereum follows suit. I am positive Solana will not be far behind. Market Cap just about $3 Trillion on Coinmarketcap .... and apparently has already surpassed that on Coingecko (too many poo coins included on that site)

I was visiting a mate of mine a few months ago for some different conversation and barbecue and booze. He mentioned that he wanted to build a pizza oven in his yard. Immediately I thought what a stupid idea was that. Expensive, complex and for maybe six pizza's a year??? NUTZ.
That got me thinking though and I came up with an oven which cost me nothing as I had all the materials on hand already.... and below was the result.

The key is the use of genuine granite ... these slabs get very hot and have a very high heat tolerance, apparently in excess of 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. At the back there is another brick 'wall' with one brick offset to create a flue for the heat to come through and heat the 'oven' space as well as the top slab. Also the heat from the back prevents smoke coming in the front and spoiling the pizza.
I made my tomato base from scratch using fresh ingredients ... and a generous portion of Olive and Anchovy tapenade... mixed my pizza dough from scratch based on a Jamie Oliver Italian pizza dough... and assembled the ingredients. recipe...
The amazing thing is we made 7 medium pizza's (there were two dough packs ) at an average cooking time of three and a half minutes with ONLY 9 PIECES OF WOOD.
This will now be a standard fortnightly Friday evening meal, alternating with home made hamburgers. Of course, experimentation will always be the order of the day.
