Highlighting @cajiro, with the story:

It was a question that quickly gave us a reason to think and invent about how or who it could be. Some of my neighbors said it was someone who flew into the house just as we were sleeping so he could bring the gift we had asked for. Others said it was a magical being that passed by the Christmas tree and left a bunch of presents for the whole family. In my case, I even came to think that it was the "Christmas spirit" that many mentioned and to whom they alluded to the concept of something supernatural and impressive.
Curator's comment :
Cajiro writes a sensitive CNF piece about a certain time in life when magic is possible. His story describes the loss of innocence and yet at the same time, the inability of an innocent mind to grasp reality. There is great charm in this piece, and for many of us it will resonate with memories of years past.
Highlighting @marynn, with the story:

Finally, the food was ready. We ate just a plate, and we rushed to attend Mass. After which we got back and prepared for our Christmas ritual. There is never a year we don't walk from home to home doing what the kids called "happy Christmas," and the house you visit would ask, "Happy rice or happy money?"
Curator's comment :
Marynn writes a lovely CNF story about Christmas in her family, when she was a child. There is so much joy in this piece. There is the unmatched child's excitement as @marynn and her cousin prepare for the holiday. They savor food. Visit neighbors' houses. Hide from the 'Oracle', upon whose face a female is forbidden to gaze. The story is filled with joy, and little bit of tension as the Oracle passes. All in all, this read is very rewarding.
