I made Ginger Ale using liquid whey protein. Firstly I brought 1 litre of natural yoghurt, then strained the whey off overnight using a cheese cloth, thus creating cream cheese and the clear whey. The original way of creating fizzy drinks way back in the day was using this method.

Then I grated some ginger and heated it in water

Then washed a few bottles and sterilised them

Then added sugar to the mix and strained it into the bottles and hey presto done.

I will leave these for 5-7 days to ferment. This is a great way of creating probiotic drinks that are healthy for you gut. Let's hope they taste great as well. I'll let you know next week how they turn out.

If you'l like to try this yourself leave a comment and I'll send you the recipe and specific details.
