Hello, my fellow food lovers—how is everyone doing? I hope you are all healthy and well; I wish for your continued good health and well-being. After quite some time, I am back with a new video for you—a recipe video featuring a beef dish. I am sharing this video with you, Insha'Allah. Please watch it, and if you enjoy it, do share your valuable feedback.
My family—especially my parents and my little daughter—had been saying they wanted to eat fresh meat rather than anything that had been frozen. So, I made some time today to head to the market and buy some truly fresh beef for them. I asked an acquaintance there for three kilograms of beef, and he carefully selected some excellent cuts for me; at 800 taka per kilogram, the total came to 2,400 taka, and I brought the meat home from the market.
Next, we proceeded to prepare the meat for cooking. After washing it thoroughly with clean water, we took it to the kitchen. Since we had a significant amount of meat and needed to include potatoes, we selected a large pot. We started by adding oil and various spices—such as pastes of cumin, ginger, and garlic, along with turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt—and stirred the mixture well. The resulting color was so appealing that it was tempting to eat right then, though in reality, it was far too spicy to consume. Anyway, after sautéing the mixture for a while, we added the beef and the potatoes, as both needed to be cooked until tender.
Next, we covered the pot with a lid to ensure the potatoes and meat cooked perfectly, and we slightly increased the heat. We waited for quite some time, occasionally lifting the lid to check the color and see if the ingredients were cooking through. After about half an hour, we removed the lid to inspect the meat and found it was already well-cooked—meaning the dish was nearly ready. We kept it on the stove for a little longer, then took a piece of meat out and pressed it with our fingers to verify that both the meat and potatoes were fully tender; they were thoroughly cooked and ready to eat.
Next, I set aside a few pieces of meat—specifically the boneless ones—in a separate bowl for my daughter, as she is too young to handle bones or spicy food. I prepared this portion so she could eat comfortably. After mashing the meat into the rice, I began feeding her; she told me, "Dad, this is delicious!" Hearing her say that made me incredibly happy. Once I had finished feeding her, we all sat down to eat and enjoyed a truly satisfying lunch together.
So friends, how did you like today's meat recipe? Please do share your valuable feedback so that I can bring you even better recipes in the future and show you how to prepare them. With that hope and expectation, I am signing off for now. Stay well and healthy. Allah Hafiz—see you in the next video. Goodbye for now; thank you, and see you again.
Thank you very much for watching this video of mine.
