I don't know if anyone here is up to date with Dragon Ball Daima, but I want to say that if you are a fan of dragon ball, this anime is the best. What I started watching because the animation looked nice and because I thought they were going to make some kind of GT reboot ended up being basically a Dragon Ball bible that is also the last thing Toriyama left us before he left. And maybe that may not interest many, I understand that, but the fact of not only expanding, but also explaining the universe of a work that already stands on its own with its main story, is something I've always loved. I have already talked about lore in anime, but there is a difference between making an extensive lore to improve your story or your world, and making an extensive lore because you are grateful to the work and take care of it in a certain way.

The greatest example of this is One Piece. With over a thousand chapters, One Piece not only tells a story, shows us characters and gives us a goal to reach, but also builds a world that feels alive and giant from geography to history, politics and commerce, something that has been built slowly and with time, but that suggests that Oda did not want to rush at any time because he loves his work with all his being and therefore wanted to deliver something magnificent from start to finish without any gap or decline. And I know this may sound like I'm a fan of OP but the truth is that I'm not, and I'm not even up to date, but what I have done is to be aware of the story and everything it has to offer.

A true fan could even do a thesis on all the geopolitics of OP, but I'm not a true fan, I just like it. In fact, one anime I am a fan of is Hunter x Hunter, and although I know I've mentioned it before, it's also interesting that although Togashi has an obvious protagonist like Gon, he doesn't focus on him throughout the manga and therefore seeks to improve both the empathy for the characters and the world they inhabit.

Besides these three anime, I really don't remember any anime or manga that shows as much affection for its world as for its characters and story. If I could say that many isekais sometimes focus on showing a whole new world, but at the end of the day that's what it means and that's what they are made for, however, with the anime I just mentioned (dragon ball daima, one piece and hunter x hunter) you can feel a love for the work that is palpable every time they mention something that increases its universe and its history, making it enjoyable to watch and enjoy.
