Mi día comenzó diferente a como lo imaginé, aunque mejor debo decir, a como no lo imaginé, porque es que ni siquiera lo planeé.
Poco tiempo después de despertar, una idea invadió mi cabeza: ¡Me voy a la peluquería! No voy a esperar más. Aunque eventualmente había pensado en hacerle un cariñito a mi cabello, lo pospuse por estar en modo ahorro.
De inmediato hablé con la peluquera y concerté una cita. Una hora después, ya yo estaba en su peluquería.
Luego de un rato conversando, ella me comenta que tenía una invitación para un cumpleaños familiar y eligió atenderme, porque "cómo se iba a ir a una fiesta, después que le había pedido a Dios de que le mandara a un cliente, porque en la semana no había llegado ninguno".
Entonces entendí porqué yo estaba ahí.
My day started differently than I imagined—or rather, better said, differently than I didn’t imagine, because I hadn’t even planned it.
Shortly after waking up, an idea popped into my head: I’m going to the hair salon! I’m not going to wait any longer. Although I’d eventually thought about treating my hair to a little pampering, I’d put it off because I was trying to save money.
I immediately called the stylist and made an appointment. An hour later, I was already at her salon.
After chatting for a while, she told me she had an invitation to a family birthday party but chose to see me instead because “how could she go to a party after she’d asked God to send her a client, since none had come in all week?”
That’s when I understood why I was there.

Yo llegué con el cabello como se puede ver en la fotografía anterior. Por cierto, se me está cayendo mucho, pero ese es otro tema.
El caso es que le pedí que me lo cortara (la dermatóloga me lo había aconsejado), pero además le pedí que me hiciera unas mechas y que me aplicara cirugía capilar.
Estoy por iniciar un tratamiento para la caída del cabello y quería que luciera cuidado sin tener que aplicarle calor.
Todo esto me lo presupuestó en 100 USD y aunque no estaba dentro de mi presupuesto, lo acepté con gusto.
El resultado se puede ver el la siguiente fotografía, que ella me tomó mientras me aplicaba un poco de labial, porque llegué con la cara lavada y quería lucir mi nuevo estilo de cabello con algo de color en mi rostro.

The thing is, I asked her to cut my hair (the dermatologist had recommended it), but I also asked her to give me some highlights and perform a hair restoration procedure.
I’m about to start treatment for hair loss and wanted my hair to look well-groomed without having to use heat on it.
He quoted me a total of 100 USD for all of this, and even though it was over my budget, I gladly accepted it.

Estuve en la peluquería desde las 11:30 A.M. hasta las 4:15 P.M., yo sabía que todo lo que me quería hacer llevaba tiempo; más la pasé bien, el ambiente era agradable y con buena energía.
La peluquera estaba muy contenta, así que trabajó mi cabello con mucho cuidado porque es muy frágil.
Quedé conforme con el resultado, la última vez que intenté que alguien me hiciera una mechas, fue un desastre, pero esta vez todo salió de acuerdo al plan.
Pero más feliz me sentí de verla a ella tan feliz. Sentí que Dios quería que yo estuviera allí.
Ahora me queda acostumbrarme a verme en el espejo con mi nuevo look 😅.

The stylist was in a great mood, so she worked on my hair very carefully because it’s very fragile.
