Feliz noche amigos, creo que poco a poco voy tomando el ritmo de estar más activa por aquí. La verdad es que hoy fue un día difícil, como muchos de mis días últimamente. Pero es que hoy mi mamá estaba cumpliendo 7 meses que falleció y yo sigo sintiendo que esto es una pesadilla. La verdad que no quería ni levantarme de la cama pero me tocó salir con una de mis tias y me ayudó a despejarme un poco la mente.
Good evening, friends. I think I’m gradually getting back into the rhythm of being more active here. To be honest, today was a hard day like many of my days lately. It marked seven months since my mom passed away, and I still feel like I’m living a nightmare. I really didn't even want to get out of bed, but I had to go out with one of my aunts, and it helped clear my mind a bit.
Mi mejor amiga es peluquera canina y habíamos hablado para agendarte una cita a la perrita de mi tía. Y hoy la llevamos ya que tenía el pelo muy largo y le hacía un buen corte y un buen baño, mi tía la baña en casa pero nada como que una profesional haga su trabajo y la dejé hermosa.
My best friend is a dog groomer, and we had arranged an appointment for my aunt's dog. We took her in today since her fur had grown quite long and she really needed a good cut and bath; my aunt bathes her at home, but nothing beats having a professional do the job and make her look beautiful.
Dónde mi amiga trabaja es una guardería canina y estaba este hermoso llamado Apolo, yo quedé enamorada de él. Incluso me acerque a tocarlo, y aunque aquí lo pueden ver muy grande solo tiene 3 meses... Este guapo me recordó cuando en casa tuvimos perros como él y eran los consentidos de la casa.
My friend works at a doggy daycare, and there was this beautiful dog named Apollo I absolutely fell in love with him. I even went over to pet him, and although he looks huge here, he’s only three months old... This handsome guy reminded me of the dogs we used to have at home, they were the family favorites.

When my friend finishes grooming the dogs, she puts bandanas on them, and she had told me a while back that she had some for my dog. Today I remembered to ask her for them, so I can bathe him this weekend and put one on him.

Luego nos fuimos y la perrita es la dueña del asiento al lado del conductor. Camino a casa nos paramos en una venta de cachapas y mi tía compro una para ella y una para mí, ya que ninguna de las dos habíamos almorzado. Mientras esperábamos las cachapas le tomé una foto y es que mi tía ha sido un gran apoyo desde que mi mamá enfermó y murió. Siempre está pendiente de mi y siempre que puede me saca de casa ya que sabe que no la estoy pasando nada bien.
Afterward, we left, and the little dog claimed the passenger seat as her own. On the way home, we stopped at a cachapa stand, and my aunt bought one for herself and one for me, since neither of us had had lunch. While we waited for the cachapas, I took a photo of her; she has been a tremendous source of support ever since my mom fell ill and passed away. She always looks out for me and gets me out of the house whenever she can, knowing that I’m going through a really hard time.
Antes de llegar a casa pasamos por el supermercado y es que necesitaba comprar algunas cosas para hacer un pie de limón. Para también vender por porciones y es que aunque las ventas están bajas. Estoy buscando siempre hacer algo para vender ya que necesito generar dinero.
On the way home, we stopped by the supermarket because I needed to buy some ingredients to make a lemon pie. I plan to sell it by the slice; even though sales have been slow, I’m always looking for something to sell since I need to make money.
Lo primero que hice al llegar a casa fue comerme la cachapa y debo decir que estaba realmente deliciosa.
The first thing I did when I got home was eat the cachapa, and I must say it was truly delicious.
