Our life as students has never-ending stories, it is a stage that spans so many years and changes, from childhood to adulthood. It is not necessary to make a great effort to find in our memory those memories.
The publication of the column "That Life of Ours" Student life at its best", proposed by @charjaim, is a proposal to evoke those unforgettable moments of that time and share them in this space, where they will surely be well received and we can exchange words and laughter. My guests at this party are:

I studied at the "Fé y Alegría" school in Maturín, from pre-school to ninth grade (3rd year), 10 years in which that place was like my second home.
I loved my school, spacious, with large windows and ceiling fans, I don't remember being hot. It also had courts, large classrooms, a beautiful library, laboratories with everything we needed for our practices, a large auditorium for all our events, a central patio, a canteen for each stage, cooking, sewing, wood and metal workshops.... In short, our oasis, our safe place.
The nuns administered the school, had the direction and some of them taught classes, they were very careful and made sure that everything went in order. They were always serious, but serene, at a slow pace and they transmitted peace.
We were always the same kids in each classroom, it was very rare that a new one entered, even so, there were several groups, according to our affinity, I guess. I was in a group of 5 girls, our anthem was the song of Los Parchís "Somos 5 amigos de verdad" and we said that we were those 5 little crystal bells that they mentioned in the song. But it's not that we weren't friends with anyone else, it's just that we were the smallest fraction.
From there I have friends that I still keep in my heart.
I remember how happy I felt at my school, the many school activities in which I participated. It was an active life of challenges and successes, a golden time.
Once I was the queen of the school, together with the other candidates, we went from classroom to classroom for the children to vote and I won.
My parents couldn't afford to buy me a dress and my mom got a borrowed one, which was a little big for me, because it belonged to an adult and I was 10 years old. I can imagine how bad she felt for not being able to give me something better, when we are parents, we can understand our parents better.
Another important event was when I was President of the National Electoral Council of my school, together with the other members, we took charge of the elections of the president of the School Republic, which meant simulating the real voting process.
It was a very interesting and educational experience, since we were taught step by step how an electoral process was in our country.
We were quiet students, the biggest prank that comes to my mind now, was when some of our classmates put some pica pica powder on the chair of the little nun who was going to teach us that day. I found out later, when the poor thing was scratching herself and they were laughing. I don't know what her punishment was, but I guess it wasn't that big, because I remembered it.
Even in ninth grade, the last year we were there, we played at recess, like children, but we were not bombarded with so much information from so many external stimuli, it was as if there was only the little we saw and it was our peaceful life at school, with the same friends, with no major novelties.
I am happy to have had that kind of childhood and I can say that student life is the best!
