Hello Foodies!
Another day, another cook! Today I tried my hands at Tutti Frutti cookies. These are simple, vanilla flavoured cookies topped with colourful tutti frutti that gives them an amazing look.
Kids usually love bright and colourful things. Whenever I want to work and my son won’t let me work, I hand him over a biscuit. He plays with it for good 20-30 minutes, eats some of it and enjoys it a lot. I use that time to finish my work.
When he saw these cookies, his eyes were filled with bright light (due to bright colours). I enjoy watching him eating and playing with these cookies. It’s like my cook is a success.
This recipe is extremely simple. Not only will your kid enjoy it but even you will love to have these cookies with tea. Let’s see how we make them.

Method
Step 1: Take a large bowl and add butter and powdered sugar to it. Mix well until the mixture becomes fluffy and creamy.
Step 2: Place a sieve on top of the bowl and add the dry ingredients – flour, custard powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well, there should be no lumps.
Step 3: Add the red, yellow and green tutti frutti. You can also choose to add nuts if you like.
Step 4: Add vanilla essence and milk and give it a good mix for about 4-5 minutes.
Step 5: Take small portions of the dough and use a cookie cutter to get the desired shape. I made square cookies this time.
Step 6: Preheat the oven and bake at 180 degrees celsius for 15 minutes.
These cookies must be stored in an air-tight container and must be consumed within a week to enjoy the complete freshness.
