Lake Dunmore sits at the base of Mount Moosalamoo on the western border of the Green Mountains in Vermont.
Its a short walk for me about 1.35 miles. On a regular day at home, I usually go in the morning then again in the early evening.
There is excitement in new places and new experiences. But there is also a contentment or even joy, in getting to know a particular area really well.
Seeing all the seasons. Seeing all the animals. Knowing it intimately.
