As above, so it is below
As above, so it is below. Reflections and fog on Lake Dunmore. Interesting look at the lake today. Low fog on the water and low clouds obscuring the mountain peaks. Smooth water was providing nice reflections.

Yin and Yang ☯
Interesting fungi find. This multicolor gill polypore (Lenzites betulina) is on a log that recently rolled over. The result is the top and bottom of the mushroom are both visible.

Foggy morning on Lake Dunmore perfectly reflected. The fog on the south end of the lake was higher - hanging on the hills. A collection of foggy shots.

Buildings with a message
Buildings often are meant to convey a message. Government buildings are meant to impress maybe even intimidate. Here's a few photos of buildings from a trip to Utah.

Frozen
All is frozen today. The temperatures dropped overnight. Beautiful patterns were created in the ice. Every puddle became an abstract work of art. Ripples on the puddles were frozen in place. What a fun

Weekend at the lake
Lake Dunmore in Addison County, Vermont. I took these five photos looking across the lake at Mount Moosalamoo. Kind of a slow motion time laspe. Or maybe just capturing different moods on the lake.

Ice on shore
Interesting pattern on the shore of the lake. Thin ice broke into patterns, then stacked on rocks. I made a short video which better shows the effect. My first photo in the post is monochromatic. I couldn't

Winter exhibition series 5 of 5
The big maple tree in our front yard in the snow. The title of the post was a bit of a joke. I think this is the 5th straight post of winter scenes from the last snow storm 😊

Reflections off a pond behind a small dam on the Leicester River in Addison County, Vermont. Everything was black and white in the snow storm. The dam feeds a small hydroelectric plant.

White out
More pictures from our recent snow. Ducks enjoying ??? the snow storm. No people out in the snow. But the snowfall was pretty. Almost white out but the lake is about one mile across so not really 😉

Snowy morning at the lake
Snowy morning at Lake Dunmore in Addison County, Vermont. Nice reflection on the still surface of the lake. The marina is emptied out for the winter but still very photographic 🙂

Cabins on the lake
The afternoon light was reflecting on the ice. Or more correctly on the water on top of the ice. I went back through the last week or so and found other shots of the same place but different moods.
