Welcome to my #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. My wife and I had a guest walker today for our daily walk around the lake. It wasn't Austin 馃ぃ although we did stumble upon his hunting lodge.
Our guest today on our walk was Cora Belle, the neighbor's standard poodle. She is a real sweetheart. Just turned one year old. Our neighbors needed a hand so we walked and fed Cora for a day.
We walked a trail close to where Cora lives.
Of course the trail leads down to the lake. The Green Mountains had a red tinge this morning.
From this point on the lake, you can see Brandon Gap in the distance and Mt Horrid.
We did happen on to this small hunting cabin on a bald hill top. I would normally steer well wide of an unknown hunting cabin in the woods but no one was around and nothing is in season right now. The first photo of the post is a close up of this cabin.
We worked our way around the lake back to my favorite view of the lake with Mt Moosalamoo in the distance. Hope you found some time to enjoy a #wednesdaywalk of your own today 馃檪
