Welcome to my #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. Flowers everywhere edition. First flower up is a day lily.
Next our black eyed susans are finally blooming. They are in a bed that doesn't get sun until the afternoon so they have been a little slow.
Purple cone flower from a neighbors beds. We have some cone flowers we started from seed but they are also a little slow to bloom.
Our painted daisies have been lovely this year 馃槏 they really #makemesmile
Flowers everywhere is my theme this week. People plant flowers in the darnedest places. Don't think this boat is seaworthy anymore 馃槅
On top of fences and in bicycle baskets.
On top of stumps.
The classic half whiskey barrel. This shot also shows some of the 1950's era lake cabins which add to the charm of the lake.
Off topic a couple of bugs caught my eye. Delicate white moth.
This beetle is on a milk weed. I didn't think it was a Japanese beetle but it might be 馃
My walks are full of green this time of year.
As my followers have probably figured out, my #wednesdaywalk posts usually start with a flower and end at the lake.
The baby geese have grown up enough the geese have moved back onto the lake.
The lake is very still. Gonna be another hot, humid day here.
Hazy days here at Lake Dunmore. Have a wonderful Wednesday and get out there in nature 馃尰鈽笍馃檪
