Its getting cold in Vermont. Makes for some awesome photos 🙂
The lake is still warm and the cold air creates fog. Looks beautiful while the Fall color is still here.
I did these photos in order of best photos not chronologically 😉 this time of year the sun isn't quite up yet when we get to the south end of the lake. The better photos were at the north end of the lake about an hour later.
On the way down to the lake, there was a heavy frost on the fields.
The photography challenge was the fog was better early. Better before the light improved as the sun got over the mountains 🙁
You can see the fog rising up the mountain in this photo.
Photos of the fog on the mountain are pretty but also are showing the fog dissipate.
Here is my normal morning photo. This was at 7:30am. The sun is just clearing the mountains. When we Fall Back with daylight savings, the morning light will be better for awhile but the days will also be getting shorter and shorter as we go into winter.
