“Fall Is In The Air!”🤗
“Road Trip……Silvertop?”🥰
Not really my friends, I was just snapping a few photos on our way home from Church early this morning!😊
The first photo is the steady uphill climb on South Pass, heading home, up into the foothills of Sumas Mountain!🍁
It was 41° outside our home this morning……………
The temperature quickly started dropping as we headed downhill to our Church in the valley…………
“Silvertop I’m showing 36 degrees on the dash, it’s usually much colder down in the valley!”
“That it is Liz!”🥶
Later on in the Winter, especially in the evening, you will feel a cold breeze blowing down from the Mountains up North!😮

That’s just a taste of potential Weather to come my friends!
When “old man winter” lets the snow fly, that light cool North breeze, can turn into a full fledged Nor’Easter!🙄
45° cold rain….. then snow, that keeps on coming for days!🥶
No electricity…………..
No emergency service……..
No garbage pickup………..
Tall trees tend to fall, potentially blocking the road, during such a storm!😳
After climbing the “South Pass”, in a winter storm like this, you turn onto the completely impassable “North Mountain Pass” that you see in the second photo!
Four wheel drive definitely required my friends!😬
Silvertop has personally done a complete 360 degree spin on this road with a Subaru chained up on all four wheels!😳
