Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is native to Europe but widely introduced in North America. It grows 6 to 24 inches high and its white flowers with yellow centers are about 1 inch across. Chamomile tea is widely used to calm upset stomachs and as a gentle sleep aid.
