I just finished a 6.101km running that lasted about 0hh:33mm:7ss !
Okay, so I did not get up that early. I try to be out of bed by 8 every morning even though I am not going to work. Last night it was raining hard as I went to bed. Earlier there had been a police helicopter hovering near us with the searchlight on. I do not know what they were looking for. We get the odd bit of drama around here, but it is generally pretty quiet.
I did a fartlek run today with some improvised sprints. You can see my speed was quite variable. I tried going down House Lane quite quickly near the start, but did not beat my segment record there. It was a fairly similar route to Tuesday, but with a few little extensions. There were too many kids around on their way to school to take the track to Stotfold.
It was a nice morning for running. Not too cold and just a few puddles to avoid. I found a new path around the houses that are being built up the road. I always welcome some variations in my routes as it gets boring otherwise. I must have run along just about every road and path in the village at some point. There are a few I do need to explore some time. The place is expanding with lots more houses planned.
