Description from Strava:
I am still getting back into my running routine after some holiday and a cold. My legs ached a bit after my Sunday run. Later that day I met up with alessandrawhite@alessandrawhite and bitterirony@bitterirony in Hitchin where Alessandra was playing in a clarinet ensemble. That was really good.

It had been raining a little over night, but that just left it damp out there. I did my usual route around Fairfield. It started gently, but I could go quicker once I warmed up. I do have to watch out for kids on their bikes going to school, but there are not many other hazards. Some of the paths are a bit rough and I cross a couple of roads. Some drivers let me cross without waiting.

Overall it was slightly quicker than I have done this route recently so that bodes well. It has warmed up a bit so I was sweating well. I saw a few other runners and a squirrel. No deer this time.

The weather is looking fairly mixed this week, but remaining mild.

We will not have our pub music session this week as the pub is between landlords. It is due to reopen next week and we hope to get back in there.

Run free and rock on!
