I just saw that The Telegraph has reported on crypto companies cutting staff and they mention Steemit. Not the sort of publicity we really want, but maybe a few more people will have a look. The other project they mentioned is SpankChain, which is aimed at the 'adult entertainment' world. They laid off 20 people, but their market cap is only a few million. I don't think we know exactly how many Steemit lost.
Steem is only just staying in the top 50 coins. I still think we need to get the word out about what the platform offers. It's not just an investment. It offers exciting possibilities for developers and other innovators.
