Freedom of speech do not mean that we can say anything we want or maybe it is. But shouldn't we be showing humanity as a human being. We know our words can hurt people then why do we still feel like hurting the other person? We know they would feel bad and we still want to do it. I think this is pure jealousy. I think when someone is jealous about your life only they have so much of free time to talk bad things about people because they have nothing good in their life. A person who has venom in their heart will only spit venom. But they do not get the courage to express their hatred like this unless they got the authority. If people start to go against whoever says mean stuff to someone then those people will have fear.
But won't that take away the freedom of speech? Of course it will but just because you are not hurting someone physically that doesn't not make it legal for you to be rude. I think everyone should be kind and mind their own business unless it's harming someone. We should try to protect each other we are all the same our identity is "Homo Sapiens" so why not stand together and be there for each other? Why there are diversity between us? I still think there should be a law against people who are online bullies. I have seen many children losing their lives because they couldn't handle what they hear from the people of online.
You might say that the kid might not be strong enough mentally. But that's not the point, the thing we should be more concerned about those people who are spreading toxicity. If you are having negative thoughts about people then you should be seeing a psychologist because we need kindness in this world and not cruelty. If we were animals then it would be different but we are not. We should try to control our words. If we can't say something to make someone feel better then it's better to stay quiet. Just zip your mouth and relax your brain. Whatever you are going through doesn't mean you can vent your angers online or anywhere that is not physical.
I have seen a few cases online bullies were arrested by the police and it felt really good. I think if someone crosses the line then they should take a lesson for it. Because every reaction has an opposite reaction. We must know that our words are precious and some people are not able to speak. We have the privilege to speak then we should misuse it for things like bullying. To make people fear I think a law against this is pretty much needed. I support the idea and I will definitely go with it. But the law should justify and gather proper proofs before putting someone into the jail. Because innocent people could be accused and I don't want that to happen. These things are sensitive so it needs to be observed safely.
