Another weekend rolls around and it may all be blending into one as a lot of people are stuck at home. I am fortunate that I can still work and have been in the office. That at least gets me out, plus I go running for my health. I expect some of you are spending more time on Hive, so we need lots of good content.
My title refers to something I posted on the 'other blockchain' when I saw they were trying to keep the old SPUD thing going. I expect a lot more is being powered down than up. I am taking nearly 2000 Steem out each week. Some is buying Hive, but I am taking some out to buy stuff via my Wirex card. That will include some music on Bandcamp. I may also upgrade some of my recording equipment.
I notice there is a lot more vote buying going on there as nobody seems inclined to downvote those who do it. People like haejin can self-vote with impunity. He is making around $250 per day there.
I am doing the odd Steem post to keep some income coming in, but my efforts are focused on Hive. We need to build the community and the brand. After years of pushing Steem we need to tell the world that there is something better now.
I have got into writing some serial fiction about a guy called @Nordlute. This links in with the people I will feature for #FollowFriday.
@katharsisdrill started this by writing some 'shitposts' on Steem that turned out to be pretty good. His were about a character called Torundel the Shitposter. He also created the art above.
@vcelier took the baton with his character Ren du Lot the shit lawyer who knows Torundel.
@owasco who created Runt Odel (do you see the pattern?).You will find all these under the Shitpost tag. I am not sure how long it will continue, but it is a bit of fun. The episodes are very short.
I created a couple of accounts for people on Twitter who asked for them.
