Everyone got excited about $BTC hitting another milestone. I do not include it on my graph as it would mess up the scale. The coins I include are all in a similar range. $HIVE has almost doubled in the last month and that ought to inspire some confidence. It is still ranking very low though. The 'legacy shitcoin' actually ranked higher for a while due to having more tokens.

The crypto world is crazy though. I saw this story of some kid making a load of money from a memecoin he created. Those things should have no value, but people leap on anything that might make them a quick profit. It has nothing to do with utility and I am staying away from that stuff.

Friday Follows

• I had interesting discussions with @makerhacks and @detectblock around earning online and the state of Hive. We should be talking about the problems as well as the benefits.
• Talking of problems, @louis88 posted about a way of detering some spam on Hive that would need the front ends to act.
• @thetroublenotes are a multi-national band who have just been on tour around the USA. We have some great musicians who deserve your support. As well as voting them up you could also look out for events in your area. I have seen these guys live in London.

I will be producing a fresh #BritList tomorrow. I am always looking out for people to add. We need to get some of the inactive accounts to return.

We are nearing the end of another year as crypto is seeing some interesting developments. I know some think that the new US government will help it, but I fear they will do a lot of damage in other areas. People want to be better off, but we know wealth does not always get well distributed and we need a decent planet to live on.
