I have seen lots of people celebrating that Hive was created five years ago this week. If you do not know the history behind that then I would encourage you to read up. Some of us were on the blockchain for longer and had to fight a hostile takeover. The outcome was a vibrant community that is creating lots of cool stuff. There is nothing quite like it that I have seen. The blockchain world is often about money, but Hive offers more than that. It is an alternative to the corporate social media platforms that exploit users. We need the world to know about it, so spread the word.
Despite our efforts the $HIVE price is a bit stagnant lately. I know some people want it to stay cheap so they can get more, but this can put others off. You can be earning it every day anyway.
I am featuring some people and projects who have been significant in building the Hive we have. They inspire me.
@roelandp does not post too much, but he has been behind many of the Hivefest (and previous versions) that bring us together. He also dabbles in some cool projects like the HiveWhale.
@risingstargame is the main game I play on Hive. I was attracted as it is centred around music. You can buy music from various Hive artists there and those NFTs can help with your progress in the game. It all started about five years ago and that means another NFT to collect.
@detlev has been running the Beer Saturday Challenge here pretty much since the start. He has also been at many of the big Hive events to have a beer with people as well as doing some presenting work.
@arcange is behind many useful Hive tools as well as the 
@hivebuzz gamification.
@the-bitcoin-dood for bringing me here in the first place. @detlev suggested the #itshisfault or #itsherfault tags to highlight whoever brought you here.I will skip the dog house segment this week as I am not in a mood to be negative. Hive is not perfect, but it is better than many of the alternatives. It offers freedom and it is up to you have you use that. I would hope it is mostly to be positive. The good far outweighs the bad in my experience.
