Do you know why bunnies have so many babies? It is so they can get free pacifiers. First it was at Grandma's house that I was tricked into giving my day nap dummy to a poor baby bunny who needed it and then, the very next day I had to give my night dummy to another baby bunny... Man, they breed like rabbits.
This was the third night I have slept without the dummy and I don't care how bigger girl they think I am, I have cried like a baby each of them. Mummy has put me to sleep on the first two and daddy tonight. It took almost two hours for me to settle with mummy and 30 minutes with daddy. Parenting isn't a competition but, daddy is winning.
Tonight, things went pretty well and I fell asleep but unfortunately, there was a bit of a leaky nappy incident and I woke up again. After a pitstop change into a something a little more comfortable (a dry nappy), without the dummy I couldn't get back to sleep. Stupid bunnies....
Mummy was trying for a while but then daddy decided to tell me some stories about his childhood. Did you know he lived in another country? Weird. He tickled my belly (my new favorite thing) and talked about funny animals and a big white house he lived in as a child. I was pretty upset about the pacifier so I missed the first parts however, after awhile I calmed down and just listened.
Sometimes he stopped tickling and I would remind him by saying 'more' and he came back with some lame excuse that he needed to rest his arm and it was going numb from hanging over the edge of the cot. Told you, lame.
Anyway, I think that tomorrow night it will all go better again and pretty soon I will forget I even had a dummy and perhaps, they are better off with the baby bunnies after all. I mean, they already have bucked teeth so it won't do them any harm. They are lucky they are so cute.
