Here are a few spiders for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
These little spikey orb weavers are everywhere in the forest right now.
They create perfect round webs all over the place.
This one is slowly webbing its way to the center.
This one has nearly completed her web.
This one has caught a couple of flies.
They have an interesting abdomen shape. It is like a triangle with spikes sticking off of it.
This one is just starting its web.
They have to start out with a long line first, then cross it with another line so they can start building the center portion.
Here is a grass spider with a cricket. They make webs on the surfaces of plants then run out to catch their prey when they feel something walking on the surface.
Now for a random worm I found in the spruce plot of the forest.
I relocated it off the bark path so it won't get stepped on. Hopefully it won't meet up with a grass spider.
