Here is a lunchtime walk where I only look up for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
The first stop is right outside city hall a huge old fashioned boom time construction project with concrete reliefs and lots of brass everywhere.
Lots of nooks and crannies in the skinny alleyways. Poor trash trucks have to get in here somehow and doge piles of rats to get to the dumpsters.
A 90s era building with nice large windows.
A bigger alleyway that is easier to get into. No fire escape stairs here as the two buildings are more modern.
Off in the distance is the Sears/Willis Tower with my shrimpy building hidden behind the curved building.
This building is called the temple, not sure what form of religion is in here. I think the top units are condos.
Plenty of different theater entryways along the way. Right now they are playing The Book of Mormon.
An old fashioned bank building with lots of interesting concrete details.
I do not envy the window cleaner's job. Especially on this building that is mostly glass.
Looking up the stairs to the El Train. Some lines aren't even worth trying to get on with the amount of scuzz on them. This main one in the city is ok though.
Now its time to get back to work. That's all for now thanks for looking :-)
