This morning I had to go to a Dive Shop Managers meeting about the " New Normal" protocols we are going to use as we move forward and hopefully get back to operational status.

I arrived early and took advantage of the free rocket fuel ( #coffee ) and to take a few photos. This location on the coast here in Panagsama is right between where my house is in Tongo , close to Moalboal and Panagsama Beach , where the Dive Centre is located.

I helped myself to more than a few cups of the black juice, well it would be rude not to.

It's a nice change here. Only 5 mins motorcycle ride either way to my house or the dive shop but the coastline is so different. Higher cliffs and bigger rock formations, a loftier vantage point.

From this perch I can see the string of Bangka dive boats lined up on their moorings, idle, waiting to be put back into action. Maybe soon. The meeting also mentioned it's entirely possible we may open for business before the end of the month. Nothing definite, just the noises coming from officials up the food chain. We wait and see. We have to be hopeful. I try and have tried to remain as positive as possible throughout the whole quarantine and know that if we open up I have people raring to go right away.

So now back to the dive shop and back to the reality of the waiting game. Maybe we will know in the coming days what is in store for us.

Well thanks for reading another random morning coffee ramble. A top up in more ways than one.

Stay safe out there people

Ciao!
