Good morning all you Hivers,
continuing on from yesterday I am holding myself accountable in these morning blogs to be sure I keep up the exercise and Japanese study i promised myself to continue. 40 push ups once more still only 20-10-10. Need to condition myself
Also managed 30 mins of Hiragana alphabet practice. I've decided that in the mornings I will go old school and try and write the characters and then in the day use the app on my i pad as and when I have time. I have already got a little rusty with some of it as i was getting very good with the Hiragana alphabet. Tomorrow I think I will write both Hiragana and Katakana characters side by side. The 2 alphabets have the same sounds but the characters differ. Then comes Kanji. Mind boggling stuff but really cool when you can start to read words in not only a different language but a completely different script. The first time i both read the characters and actually knew the word I was properly grinning. Made me really happy. learning really should be fun.
But for now a little more rocket fuel and down to the dive shop. I am a little worried they may do a u turn in the coming days and remove our ability to take out divers again which would be hugely disappointing so important we do as much as we can while we actually can. So more coffee and crack on!
