Good Morning Hivelanders!
this morning a may feel like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards but am very excited to be cracking on with the day. Had more than a few beverages last night as we are all pretty buzzed about the prospect of resuming our diving activities come the 12th of June. Bubble blowing here we come!
It also means the possibility of planning a short local trip to nearby Siquijour Island, the land of witches and black magic. The trip new may have grown to 7 of us. Would you believe 5 of the 7 are Hivelanders! So there will be some content out of that trip. #hive on!I have been once before and the place is stunningly beautiful, but with our own bikes we will be able to really explore the place while we are there. Really quite stoked about this trip, especially after such a prolonged captivity.
I am pouring down the black juice this morning, 3rd cup of #coffee already and it's only now starting to fire the synapses of my addled brain. Slowly the sparks are getting more frequent, restoring full function, rebooting the antiquated software up there in my oh so grey matter.
Yesterday the crew managed to rinse off, clean and put back into place about 50% of the dive shop equipment. We continue in that mode today. The place is coming back to life. It was possible to feel the energy and the good vibe from the crew. They are looking forward to getting back to doing what we do well, putting smiles on peoples faces. I am so happy we will be back in the saddle in 5 days time.
Hmmm ok 4th cup of rocket fuel #coffee it is, feeling alive in the #hive.
