Hail to the Hive!
I spent a few hours alone today just me and the trees. The giant leaves made me almost imagine myself being back in prehistoric times and I half wondered if a T Rex was going to pokemots nose through the foliage and fix me with it鈥檚 beady eyes.
It would look right at home here although I鈥檓 not sure the neighbours would appreciate it.
I became lost in thought listening to the cool breeze as it blew through the giant leaves bringing the fresh scent of impending rain.
The rain will be most welcome as the streets are getting dry and dusty and the trees look like they want a drink. Seems weird as it is normally the time of year for rain and yet it teases but does not follow through.
I am told on the other side of the planet the Philippines 馃嚨馃嚟 is getting more than its fair share and yet here in Jamaica 馃嚡馃嚥 not so much. It will come though I am sure and quench the thirst of these jurassic looking plants.
I鈥檓 about to quench my thirst with a red stripe. Got to be done!
