Greetings to the members of the #blackandwhite community. Friends, I truly enjoy going for walks and practicing street photography along 5th Avenue, located in the Miramar neighborhood of Havana. It is one of the most picturesque streets in the Cuban capital, with a high volume of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic; it is also home to many major foreign embassies, large churches, non-governmental organizations, and various state administrative centers. During my walk last Friday, I observed many people going about their daily routines—some sitting on benches in the parks that separate the roadways, others walking in various directions. Most of the individuals I photographed were aware that they were being captured by my lens, yet they felt completely at ease—in fact, they simply carried on as if nothing out of the ordinary were happening. Saludos a los miembros de la comunidad #blackandwhite. Amigos, disfruto mucho salir a caminar y hacer fotografía callejera a lo largo de la 5ta Avenida, ubicada en el barrio Miramar, en la ciudad de La Habana. Se trata de una de las calles más pintorescas de la capital cubana, con gran volumen de tránsito de vehículos y personas, vía donde están ubicadas las más importantes sedes de las embajadas extranjeras, grandes iglesias, instituciones no gubernamentales y otros centros administrativos de estado. Durante el recorrido que realicé el pasado viernes pude observar muchas personas en sus actividades habituales, algunas permanecían sentadas en los bancos de los parques que separan las calzadas, otros caminaban en distintas direcciones, casi todos los sujetos retratados estuvieron conscientes que estaban siendo captados por mi lente y se sintieron a gusto, más bien, permanecieron como si nada diferente estuviera ocurriendo. Siempre es un placer compartir con ustedes estas experiencias.
