En la noche
a veces la luna parece plastilina.
Quieta ante mis ojos
como una piedra que calló
hacia arriba,
pero que se mueve como avispa
si trato de tomarle una foto.
Por eso al verla
te recuerdo
como una perla
sobre terciopelo negro,
tan distinta.
Por más que quise
un recuerdo tuyo,
nunca dejaste de moverte,
tu corazón voluble
me volvió embustero
de las pocas memorias
que tenía de ti,
pero que locamente repetí
tantas veces,
como el segundero
en mi reloj de cuarzo.
Hoy me encuentro tranquilo
observando esta luna
apenas un poco menguante,
solo espero que igual
tu débil recuerdo
no desaparezca del todo...
At night
sometimes the moon looks like plasticine.
still before my eyes
like a stone that fell
upwards,
but that moves like a wasp
If I try to take a picture of it.
That's why when I see her
I remember you
like a pearl
on black velvet,
so different.
As much as I wanted
a memory of you,
you never stopped moving
your fickle heart
made me a liar
of the few memories
What did I have of you?
but that madly I repeated
many times,
like the second hand
on my quartz watch.
Today I feel calm
observing this moon
just a little waning
I just hope the same
your weak memory
don't disappear completely...
