As long as you are alive, then you will be met with changes. In fact, one of the proofs of our existence in this world is change. You will agree with me that if life is static without any change, it will be very boring. In fact, the presence of change is part of what makes life worth living. The truth is that the world itself is not static but very dynamic, so also every other thing, including methods, processes, and ideas. You may have followed a certain method to solve a problem in the past, but it does not mean that the method will remain valid eternally. As things evolve, the method needs to also evolve with it - that is the nature of dynamism.

You may have a dream of what you want to achieve and may even have a plan of how to go about it. But one thing you need to know is that even if your dream may be constant, every other thing relating to it, like the methods, procedures, etc, can be dynamic. The idea is to achieve the dream, not necessarily to be straitjacketed to a particular way of achieving it. If one method does not seem to deliver the right and desired result, why waste time on it hoping it will deliver someday? Why not try out an entirely different method? If it did not deliver at the first, what makes you think it will deliver at the subsequent? Any method you employ to actualize your dream does not matter, what matters is that you ultimately fulfill the dream.

If you have a place to go to for example, there are times that a lot of roads may lead to it. The destination may be constant, but the roads leading to it may be multiple. So if you want to follow a particular road and you realise that traffic is much on it or that it is blocked, will you not divert to another road that will lead you there? What matters is that you finally arrive at the destination. Same also in life, you are not under the obligation to follow a particular method or format towards the actualization of your goals, what matters is the end-result.

It is worthy to note that processes, methods, formats, etc, are not rewarded, what is rewarded is when you have the actual result. No matter how hard you have worked and the amount of brutal efforts you have put in place, if you do not have any result to show for it, then the entire work was futile and will not be rewarded. However, if someone else have put in little effort and achieve the result, it will be rewarded. This is why there is becoming a paradigm shift from working so hard to working smartly, because at the end, it is only the result that will attract rewards. The whole essence of putting in labour is to draw profits, and if you are not getting the desired profit, the right thing to do is to try out a different approach.

I remember one time that I was undertaking a particular task during my internship period, I was stuck at a method. All the attempts I made to go pass it seemed not to work and I was almost getting frustrated because I had a limited time to deliver. What I did was to consult with a senior colleague who already did similar task. Surprisingly, the method he gave to me was entirely different from what I was attempting. So I tried out his own method and in less than 30 mins, the work that I had spent almost the whole day was done. Imagine if I did not try his own method, I would have wasted more time in doing what will not produce result - that is the beauty of dynamism. You cannot keep doing things in the old way and hope for a modern and better result. To have a modern result, then the methods will also have to be modern.

Whatever you do in life, you have to know that change happens everytime and as such, you should also be willing to change and adopt new methods of doing things. If you cannot adapt to change, then you may be limited in life. If you want to make impact in life, then you have to be willing to accept changes, be flexible at all times, and then employ dynamism in what you do.
