Hello hello friends, welcome to my blog.Today I will be sharing with you all a delicious Venezuelan Creole dish that will leave you with your mouth watering. Its preparation is very simple, so make yourself comfortable that I am going to begin.

Stewed meat with rice and chickpeas.

We start by preparing the chickpea.

Ingredients:

Chickpeas (Soaked the day before) - 500 gr.
Onion - 1 large.
Peppers - 3 units.
Garlic - 6 cloves.
Carrot - 1 medium.
Assorted branches to taste (Chives, parsley and coriander)
A ripe banana
Vegetable oil.
Salt and Water.

Cut the peppers and onion into small pieces, then crush the garlic. We add it in our pressure cooker along with the assorted branches and the carrot. Sauté.

Add the chickpeas, salt and stir, then add water, cover the pot and cook until just soft.

Add the ripe banana cut into small pieces, stir and cook for 5 minutes.

We continue with the preparation of the meat.

Ingredients:

Meat - 300 gr.
Onion - 1 small.
Pappers - 2 units.
Garlic - 5 cloves.
Potato 1 medium.
Assorted branches to taste (Chives, coriander, parsley)
Oregano - 1/2 tsp.
Curry - 1/4 tsp.
Vegetable oil.
English sauce.
Onoto.
Salt and water.

Sauté the dressings and the potato together with the onoto in the pressure cooker.

Then we add the meat, salt, oregano, curry, and english sauce. We stir and cook a few minutes. Then we add the water to cover the meat, cover our pot and cook until the meat is soft.

To finish we prepare the rice.

We cook the rice as we usually prepare it. To this I only added grated carrot.

We already have the chickpea, meat and rice ready, now we serve and enjoy this delicious Venezuelan Creole dish.
