Matias has been playing sports since he was little, first he started with swimming when he was two and a half years old, then when he was 4 years old he started playing baseball for Guayamuri School, where he was for about 4 years and decided to change to play soccer.
So we enrolled him in Guerreros de Matasiete, a soccer team relatively to our house. He was practicing until the COVID 19 pandemic and the quarantine, but when the strict quarantine period ended, Matias did not want to continue playing soccer, although we insisted that he continue practicing.
Finally when they returned to classroom classes he asked to play chess, a discipline he had always liked because in the first school he attended they taught chess as a subject, so we looked for a chess teacher and he started practicing and playing in several tournaments.
Days ago I asked him if he wanted to practice basketball since he should practice some sport besides chess and he said yes, they play basketball at school and he likes it.
He has been practicing basketball for 2 weeks now and I see him with a lot of interest in the practices and he wants to participate with the team in tournaments. I hope he plays well and is taken into account for the games because he is very excited.

Feliz día amigos de #liketu. Espero estén teniendo un gran día. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes unas fotografías de la práctica de basquetbol de mi hijo Matías.
Matías ha practicado desde pequeño algún deporte, primero comenzó con natación teniendo dos años y medio, luego a partir de los 4 años empezó a jugar béisbol para el Colegio Guayamuri, dónde estuvo por 4 años aproximadamente y decidió cambiarse para jugar fútbol.
Así que lo inscribimos en Guerreros de Matasiete, un equipo de fútbol relativamente a nuestra casa. Estuvo practicando hasta que llegó la pandemia del COVID 19 y la cuarentena, pero al terminar el período de cuarentena estricta Matías no quiso continuar jugando fútbol, aunque estuvimos insistiendo en que siguiera practicando.
Finalmente cuando regresaron a las clases presenciales pidió jugar ajedrez, disciplina que siempre le había gustado porque en el primer colegio que estuvo daban ajedrez como materia, así que buscamos a un profesor de ajedrez y empezó a practicar y jugar en varios torneos.
Hace días le pregunté si quería practicar basquetbol ya que debería practicar algún deporte además del ajedrez y me dijo que sí, que en el liceo juegan básquet y le gusta.
Tiene en estos momentos 2 semanas que está practicando basquetbol y le veo con bastante interés en las prácticas y quiere participar con el equipo en torneos. Espero que juegue bien y lo tomen en cuenta para los juegos por qué está muy ilusionado.
