I was checking my picture gallery and came across these awesome pictures of last year when my Dubai friend visited Pakistan and took us on a treat to share some big news. As usual, whenever he visits Pakistan, its all of a sudden and all the plans with him are planned on immediate basis without prior information or any discussion. On this day too, he picked me up and then we went to another friend’s home, picked her up and her daughter and then driving through the roads to find a suitable restaurant because he was too hungry.
I suggested this restaurant “Kaybees”, they have many branches and franchises all over Pakistan. A good decent restaurant but it was my first time in this branch. Hoping for the better taste, we entered and went to the rooftop. One of our friend joined us a bit late because he was busy at work and came directly from work to join us for the dinner.
We had a lot of gossips and discussion on different topics, the big news was he started his own business in Dubai and was very happy. Me who don’t know anything about own business was busy giving him tips and advises on how to build and grow and proper own business. Too much funny talks, we are hoping that his business grows better so we can tell everyone that we have a rich friend in Dubai. One of the funny thing about him is he is always hungry whenever we meet and he orders a lot of dishes but when it is served, he just eats a small portion and then he is full. His hunger never matched with the quantity of food he eats.
When the missing friend arrived, Dubai friend ordered and as expected it was too much. Kababs, chowmein, Karahi and Handi. Well, I must say the food was very delicious, I was not expecting it this much tasteful. I really liked the atmosphere on the rooftop of the restaurant, you have a very nice view of the airport, planes taking off and landing can be seen very clearly from there. my friend’s daughter was a bit of shy, not ready for the pictures. Its been eight years to our friendship as we all meet in 2015 and were newly hired in the same company and became good friends. However, after getting new jobs in different companies, still we meet up and kept our friendship alive. It is nice to have such good friends in your life.
It was a perfect night with friends, had a lot of fun and fantastic tasty food. Chicken Handi turned out to be my favorite on that day, it was perfectly cooked and the taste was outclass. After dinner, we had chocolate and oreo shakes. We enjoyed our time together and then he dropped us back to our homes. Such a wonderful and memorable day with friends. Hope we will be meeting soon by next month as he will be here for his wedding.
