🦉 The Siberian stonechat or Asian stonechat (Saxicola maurus)

📚 Saxicola (lat ): saxum rock, stone, -cola inhabitant
📚 maurus (lat.): Moorish, black

Finding these birds in the wild is not difficult. It is enough to visit meadows, fields, clearings, edges in the forest, in other words, any open spaces.

These photos were taken by me in the meadows outside the city. There are no trees, only bushes and tall grasses. It is on strong tall blades of grass and plants that these birds love to sit.
The male carefully observes his territory, and in case of danger, he makes a sound similar to the sound of hitting pebbles, for which these birds got their name. The female at this time was looking for food for children. And the youngster, in fact, in the last two photos.
