🦉 The spotted flycatcher (Muscicapa striata)

I have no idea why this flycatcher is called gray. She's brown! Apparently for the same reason why a black kite is not black.
It's funny that every year the birds return to their past nesting places. Therefore, you can come to the same place every year and see the birds that you have seen here before.

This flycatcher lives in the forest near the coast, in the middle of growing tall coniferous trees. That's where I always see her.
The bird always sits on "hunting places" convenient for it, perches, where it looks out for flying insects. And having caught the insect, she again returns to her place.
