馃 The hazel grouse (Tetrastes bonasia)

馃摎 bonasia the etymology is unclear, one of the assumptions is "bonum" good, "assum" roast (lat).

These wild chickens are slightly larger than a pigeon, but weigh about 500g.
The bird is secretive and inconspicuous, most likely due to the fact that it is an object of hunting. However, in spring or autumn you can hear their voices. Their voices are high whistling, I would even compare it with the squeal of the wheels of a car.
