The red squirrel or Eurasian red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris)
We are all used to seeing squirrels in urban forest parks. There they are not afraid of people, and even beg for food from passers-by. But it is much more interesting to watch squirrels in real wild nature.
Wild squirrels have a completely different life, not as well-fed as urban squirrels, it is harsh. They need to constantly survive, look for food, hide and protect themselves from predators.
This squirrel in the photo, noticing me, climbed a tree, where it sat and watched me for a long time. I walked away so as not to scare her, and then she returned to her worries. Namely, she first tore moss from the trees, and then took it somewhere upstairs, obviously insulating her home against the cold.
