For some reason unknown to me, I began to see these cute animals rarely. As a rule, they are clearly visible in the spring, as soon as they awaken from hibernation and leave their homes.
In summer they are difficult to see due to the dense vegetation on the ground where they spend their time searching for food. However, in the summer I see them at the old cemetery, where they examine the graves on which people leave various foods.
In the fall, you can see how they are hastily trying to stock up on food, and it looks funny when a chipmunk takes a huge amount of food into its cheek pouches and has difficulty walking.
