🦉 The grey heron (Ardea cinerea)

This bird cannot be confused with anything else; it is tall, has long legs, and an angular neck folded like the letter "S". Unfortunately, I don't have any quality photos of the bird standing in the water. The bird is very timid and as soon as it notices movement in its direction, it immediately flies away.
It is worth saying that they fly reluctantly, their wide wings flap heavily, their necks are pulled in, and their long legs are bent along the body. I see them in spring and autumn on the banks of the river flowing along the city and further. As a rule, they are there in groups of 4-6 birds.
