🦉 The common whitethroat or greater whitethroat (Curruca communis)

• Curruca is an unidentified bird name mentioned in the poems of the ancient Roman poet Juvenal
• communis (lat.) ordinary, common.

This bird is one of the very first to arrive in the spring from the entire family of these birds (Sylviidae)
And at this time, when it is already warm, but there are still no leaves on the bushes, the most favorable time for observing these birds.
The male selects and occupies a territory, and then sings songs to defend it.
