Very soon it will be possible to see these woodpeckers in the forests. With the advent of autumn, they appear in the forests of my city in small quantities. And most often they like to be part of the so-called mixed bird flock. But sometimes they can be found both singly and in pairs.

Surprisingly, this species of woodpecker is most not afraid of people. This is weird. You can get close to it, literally 2-3 meters. And given that this woodpecker will inspect trees no higher than 3 meters, it becomes a convenient object for photographing and observing.
