🦉 The common rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus)

These pink sparrows will arrive very soon. They are among the last to arrive, and this is due to their nature of migration. After wintering, they all first fly far to the east, and then return back.
There is about a week left before their arrival, and then in the forests you can hear their famous songs that sound like "nice to meet you!"

Sexual dimorphism is very pronounced in every sense of the word. Females and young birds are painted brown inconspicuous color, and look like sparrows. And adult males are painted pink. And the older the male, the richer the pink color.
